Knock the arrow, pull back the string, focus on the target and, with a relaxed motion, let the arrow fly! In archery, campers gain bow-and-arrow experience with all the necessary equipment to become master archers. Each unit has its own range nestled in the woods with a shooting distance between 15 and 50 yards. Each range has two targets: large foam circles with ten rings and enticing yellow bullseyes. In addition to learning that safety comes first, we teach the proper form and technique that is essential in archery. Campers shoot thirty arrows per round and have the chance to earn “arrows,” which they can achieve by shooting a set score at a certain distance.
