Horseback Riding

Horseback Riding Trips

Multi-Day Overnight Trip

Hang out in the pasture as horses graze and feed, saddle your horse before riding to locations inaccessible on a trail ride from camp, and learn advanced horsemanship techniques! During an overnight horseback ride (one of many offerings in our horseback riding program), you will ride trails bordered by wildflowers, through aspen and pine forests, across tumbling creeks to campsites on Cheley properties – Pierson Meadow and Outpost Corral – for two to four-day stays in wooded seclusion. Campers also learn how to build a fire, cook outdoors, and pitch a tent. After an evening spent roasting marshmallows and telling stories around the campfire, campers may sleep in a tent or under the stars.
