Finer Things invites our youngest campers to slow down and enjoy the art of gathering together, starting with the creation and enjoyment of a shared charcuterie spread. Campers work together to assemble boards using meats, cheeses, fruits, and crackers, learning about presentation, care for shared food, and taking pride in creating something beautiful as a group. Campers dress up a bit for the occasion and use real fine china, and may also enjoy a simple tea or Shirley Temple mocktail tasting, which makes the experience feel special without being formal. Along the way, they practice age-appropriate hosting skills like table setting, polite conversation, and consideration for others. Some groups may explore small details such as tying bows or bow ties, all in a relaxed, celebratory setting that emphasizes confidence, kindness, and connection over rules.
