Our evening program, simply called “campfire,” is the perfect way to end the day! Campfire is a time to let go, come together as a unit, and enjoy the peacefulness of nightfall. In keeping with the end-of-day tradition of the Old West, campers gather to tell stories, sing camp songs, play games, and more. Your body is tired, and your spirit lifted. Whether it’s Scavenger Hunt, Mario Kart, or Skit Night, a different activity is scheduled every night by the unit’s Campfire Counselor. While most nights, campfire takes place in your unit’s lodge, some campfires occur elsewhere around camp. Every cheerful campfire ends with Friendship Circle and Taps before it’s time for lights out!
