A Camp Rich in Tradition
Many of the handsome lodges and log cabins that give Cheley's camp facilities its legendary personality were built in the 1920’s during our first decade of operation. The heritage of these buildings helps to establish a strong sense of place, which contributes to a camper’s burgeoning respect for his or her place in the world. Here are some Video testimonials from campers about their experience at Cheley.
The Cheley family is diligent about maintaining the integrity of the camp’s facilities and preserving their richness for years to come. Every lodge is steeped in tradition and story, like the Grant Wood sculpture that hangs above the doorway in Ski Hi Lodge, created by Wood himself when he was a Cheley counselor in the 1930’s.
Cheley campers enjoy a wide array of facilities, equipment, activity rooms and natural beauty. Below are a few Cheley camp ammenities.
