A Peek into the First Chapel of the Summer.

By

While we’re a non-denominational camp, and welcome campers from all religions, Chapel is truly a special tradition — and it’s hard to not feel sentimental during the ceremony. During the summer, Chapel takes place every Sunday and campers, counselors, and support staff come together to reflect and rejoice while taking in the serene mountain landscape. Each week, campers volunteer to read quotes that inspire them and perform musical numbers to the Camp. Typically, a staff member will speak about an important topic, and the ceremony closes with campers and staff linking arms and singing a closing song.

Highlights of the first chapel included an empowering piece from Brooke Cheley Klebe about the power of the mind, and an original song by Marina Fayfield in Senior Chipeta
